I gave a small scream as I jumped a rail, feeling Jason’s hand grab the jacket tied around my waist. The jacket luckily gave way, falling off me and giving me a small lead as the punk stumbled, surprised when I didn’t go jerking backwards.  
 
“Catch me if you can, boys!” I shouted, doing a little spin to look back at them. Jason was the punk with the fire red hair mostly hidden under a do-rag with pitch-back wraparound sunglasses, and Kevin was the other punk with dark skin, a shaved head, and multiple piercings glinting in the autumn sun. They were still chasing me, but looking as if they w Petals In the Wind :Prelude:

She only felt a moment of pain before the shock set in when felt steel slide through her. There was less than a second from the time she felt it pierce the skin on her back until she saw the bloody tip of the blade come out of her dress. Her heart thumped hard against her rib cage as she watched her blood dripped from the tip, detachedly wondering if this was it. She had summoned Holy as her Ancestors had told her too. Would she finally enter the Promised Land and see her mother? She smiled as she closed her eyes for the last time, thinking she had finally found peace. Unknown to her, Pa Flowers in the Snow :One:

Summer = Busy

My laptop has no battery, so I'm not using it as much as I used to. My car no longer runs. At all. and it's 95 degrees (Fahrenheit) and our air conditioner is broke. Not to mention pressure at work, feeling debited to the people reviewing my stories on FF.net, and my own want to just curl up and read Star Trek stories.

Yes. Star Trek. Saw the new movie, fell in love with it. I recommended it to any and all sci-fi lovers. It's good, especially if you don't know much about the original series like me.
